Emma Rogers was an engineering student at McMaster in electrical and biomedical engineering. She has been apart of McMaster’s Women Lacrosse Team, the engineering musical and a welcome week leader. The opportunity to work at Didar lab arose from Emma being a recipient of the Dean’s Excellency Scholarship. She was first introduced to the medical field during her time working at a chiropractic clinic in Toronto. She has a keen interest in botany, lab work and the human body. In Didar’s lab she focuses on developing novel coatings and applying them to biosensors used for magnetic cell separation.
