Research Team

Fatima was a 2nd year student in Honours Life Sciences, and she joined the lab in October 2021 as an undergraduate research volunteer. She was working on the development of printable DNAzyme based sensors to be implemented onto food wraps under Shadman’s supervision. Fatima has found a special interest in research because she liked the idea of delving deep into one topic and understanding it thoroughly. In her free time, Fatima enjoys running, painting, cooking, and spending time with her family.
