Hannah Mann
PhD Student
Hannah is a currently a PhD student in the Didar Lab, having previously received both her MASc in Chemical Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering from McMaster. She works in the area of food safety, specifically on the development of DNA-based bacterial sensors for food packaging. She also works on phage-based food decontamination strategies. In her free time, Hannah’s hobbies include board games, sewing, and cross-country skiing.
