Lei Tian obtained his BSc (2014) and MASc (2017) in Biomedical Engineering from Southeast University, China. He recently completed his PhD program in the Department of Chemical Engineering, McMaster University. During Lei’s PhD studies, he focused on bacteriophage materials and microstructured surfaces. So far, he’s completed 5 first-author papers, 10 co-author papers as well as 3 patents. After graduation, he is now a postdoctoral fellow and continuing his research in nanostructured biomaterials under supervision of Dr. Zeinab Hosseinidoust and Dr. Tohid Didar. Outside of his academics, he enjoys hiking, swimming and cooking.
