Research Team

Lubna is currently a Research Associate in the Didar Lab, working on the Bfree Cup research project in collaboration with Women’s Global Health Innovation (WGHI). She completed her MASc in Biomedical Engineering at the Didar Lab, working on the fabrication of novel protein-pure hydrogel biosensing microarrays and optimizing biosensor microcontact printing protocols. She has previously worked with the industry partner SQI Diagnostics. Outside of research, Lubna is passionate about teaching, mentorship, and expressing herself creatively. In the past, she has been a tutor, volunteer editor, Artists at McMaster VP Events Administrator and Poetry and Creative Writing Society co-founder.
