Roderick Maclachlan
PhD Candidate
Roderick MacLachlan obtained his BSc in Engineering Physics from McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada in 2018. After graduation Roderick began his direct-entry PhD in the Department of Engineering Physics at McMaster University under the supervision of Dr. Didar and Dr. Soleymani. His current work is focused on the development superhydrophobic surfaces with anti-biofouling and anti-pathogenic properties as well as electrochemical biosensing. Outside of his academic life, Roderick enjoys biking, rock climbing and playing guitar.
